Foundation Board Chair "Interns" at Providence

Deborah Royster, Providence Health Foundation Board Chair, had the opportunity to participate in our “Mini-Internship” program, where she shadowed Susan Pierson, a Certified Nurse Midwife, during which time she witnessed the births of a health baby girl and boy.
In Deborah's candid interview following her 8 hour shift she described her day as "one of the most amazing experiences of my life."
She also said, "to watch the doctors, nurses and staff exercise the skill, care and passion that they deliver to our patients at Providence has been inspiring to me."
